Last week was Payton's Birthday. He turned 5-years-old. I can't believe it! We had all of our family over on Monday night to celebrate (and watch the Jazz Game) and then on Saturday we had a Star Wars party with a few of his friends (20 kids!!) The highlight of the party was the homemade light sabers. The kids loved these. We bought pool noodles and cut them in half. Then we taped the bottom part of the light saber with gray tape and then added some detail with black electrician's tape. (The picture is actually upside down. The gray part is the handle.) It was a hit...literally! They spent the whole time hitting each other with these, but they all loved it! Payton had a fun week...Happy Birthday, buddy!
