I am alive...barely!

Thank you for the many phone calls and e-mails of concern. I appreciate all of you who miss my blogging. I'm sorry to let you down, but besides another life forming inside of my body and being extremely sick because of it...there is really nothing else exciting happening in my life. I am going through the motions of life right now, but not enjoying much of it. I'm pretty miserable! Luckily, I have 2 beautiful boys that remind me it's worth it everyday. Of course, my 2 beautiful boys are pretty much taking care of themselves right now until Tim gets home from work each day. And...poor Tim...I feel so bad that he has to come home to a messy house, dirty dishes, loads of laundry, 2 bored children and a miserable wife. Thanks for putting up with me!! This week I did feel a little relief for a few days, but I'm sick as ever again today. I know that "this too shall pass." But, right now the days and nights seem to drag on FOREVER. I've only been sick for a few weeks, but it feels like months! I know that I'll be over this soon and feeling better...until then...be grateful that you don't have to hear my complaining! I did have my first doctor's appointment last week and everything seems to be going well. We didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but he did an ultrasound and the fetus is in the right place so that's good news. We found out that my uterus is tipped backwards...interesting!? He said that I'm high risk for pre-term labor again (we pretty much figured) and said that I could plan on bed rest and delivering early again. Can't wait!!

Thanks again for all of your love and support!

Exciting News...

Many of you already know this (thanks to Parker), but I thought that I would officialy post the news on my blog (since I saw it on a couple of other blogs recently). I'M PREGNANT! Yes, we found out a few weeks ago and I've been so sick ever since. The joys of pregnancy! It's been a crazy few weeks. Tim & I were so excited to be pregnant with our 3rd child. We're still not sure that we can handle 3 children, but we are ready to try! About a week after I found out I was pregnant I started spotting & cramping, which is scary. I did an HCG blood test to determine if I miscarried. The blood tests came back normal. They determined that, so far, I was having a normal healthy pregnancy. We were not ready to share the news yet, but on Labor Day my family was at my house. We were all sitting around in our family room, when Parker told my Dad, "Mommy has a baby in her tummy." What?!? We told Payton & Parker, but never thought that they would tell anyone. It was pretty cute and funny! So, we were committed to telling the rest of our family and friends before Parker started spilling the news to everyone around. He did do the honors of telling a few more people! We really are excited and are glad that Parker slipped the news early. I am only 7 weeks pregnant. My due date is April 30th, which doesn't mean much, since both Payton and Parker were born 4 weeks early. So, I'm expecting a baby the end of March or beginning of April. (Honestly, I don't know what I'd do if I went full term...9 months...yuck!!) More than anything, I'm just hoping to have a healthy baby! Also, I'm excited that so many other people are pregnant right now as well. My Sister-In-Law, Mahina (Brady's wife) is due about the same time that I am, but I'm not very happy with her because she isn't even sick (yet)! No, I really would not wish anyone to be this sick. It's truly miserable. Thank goodness I have an AMAZING husband who has completely picked up my slack. He gets home from work and does dishes, makes dinner, takes care of the boys. You know, all the stuff I can't do right now. I'm so glad that he is putting up with me right now. I just hope that I can endure the next 6 weeks...get me to the 2nd trimester!!

1st Soccer Game of the Season!

Today was Payton's first soccer game of the season. He has been anticipating this day for months now. He was so excited! Also, I think Tim was excited to begin coaching again. This season we have 5 boys in our neighborhood on the team and 3 girls that were on Tim's team last year. Plus 1 more new kid on the team. Our team is amazing this year (or the other team was just horrible). They dominated the other team. I personally think it's because of Tim's wonderful coaching! Payton scored the 2nd goal of the game. We were so proud! Payton wanted the team to be called, "Red Fire." He was really hoping that they would have red jerseys so that this could be the team name. He was so excited when Tim brought home the red jerseys...now the team name is officially "Red Fire." They were definitely on "fire" today!

Treasure Hunt

Today Payton, Alex, Caleb & Parker were playing. They found a bunch of pirate gear and were pretending to be Pirates. I thought it would be fun to do a little treasure hunt with them. I just got a brown paper bag and filled it with treats and hid it in the backyard. They had so much fun that we had to hide at least 10 different treasures. They all took turns hiding the treasure bag. It was a lot of fun! Payton made Tim do a treasure hunt for him & Parker on Sunday. He told Tim exactly what he needed to do as if there were very specific rules. It was cute!

Looking for the hidden treasure bag.

Still looking...

We found it!!

They divided the treats equally on their Pirate Ship!

Bergstrom Family Reunion

We had our annual Bergstrom Family Reunion today. We rented a big water slide that the kids had a great time playing on. We also played some volleyball and did arts & crafts. Of course, we did the traditional BBQ thing as well. It was a great time! We are looking forward to an AMAZING time next year. I can't wait to see if it actually happens!
