1 Month Old

It's amazing how time seemed to go so slow when I was pregnant, but now that this little angel is here time seems to be flying by so fast. I can't believe that Cooper is already 1 month old. It has been such a fun month. I have also had my share of reality as well.

It seems that the first couple weeks were like a fun little vacation and then life caught up with me. These past two weeks it seems that the laundry, cleaning and my many responsibilities have come at me full speed. I've found it difficult to negotiate my time. Obviously, I knew that having another child was going to be an adjustment, but my personality wants things to be perfect immediately. I have to keep reminding myself that this time goes by so fast and I won't get this precious little newborn stage back again. With that in mind, it helps me overlook the many things that are not getting done in my life. I'm constantly reminding myself that it's OKAY!

Having a newborn is helping me realize how blessed I am. Having a newborn makes me love and appreciate my other two children so much more. It's amazing how fast they grow up. I can't believe that they were ever this small. Now, I can't believe how big they are. Having a newborn also helps me appreciate my own parents. It's amazing how much time, effort and work goes into parenting. I'm so grateful that my parents did such a great job!

This past month I have been learning so much. I'm learning how to be patient. I'm also learning how to live with imperfections and let go of the little things. I'm learning how to prioritize better. I'm learning how to put my children's needs above the housework demands. I'm learning how to enjoy life more and stress less. Most of all, I'm learning that I have a lot to work on!

Having a newborn helps me love and appreciate all that Tim does for me and our family. He is an amazing husband, father and friend. I'm so grateful that my boys have such an amazing Dad to emulate. They love their Dad so much and definitely want to be just like him!

Having a newborn puts life into perspective! We love having Cooper in our family and in our home. He has been such a joy and a blessing to us. I love the quote, "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it." I feel like this definitely applies to having another child. It's definitely not easy, but it is sooo worth it!

I have soo been there!!! OH, wait, I AM there!!! But I was really feeling all of that, maybe 7.5 months ago when Drew was a month old. :) I know you know this, but it will be so much easier, and you will get your life back. You'll have time to clean/organize soon enough. Good luck. he's sure cute.

He is getting so big and I haven't even met him yet. Only a few more weeks!!! I can't wait. If you want to feel better about your housework you can come to my house and check it out. I think that I have given up on cleaning...well, at least until I am done with work next week!!!

I LOVE HIM!! I can't believe how fragile he looks still. I think Eme is going to eat him alive!! She is much bigger than little Coop's due to the fact that she LOVES her food! We'll get more up to date pics on Saturday with the two! See you at the LEGO party!

Holy cow! It's already been a month. Wow, time flies. Isn't three way different than two? At least it was for us. I felt my whole world turn upside down. Everything seems to work itself out. As far as keeping my house clean, I lost that when I had three. So best of luck with that!

Hey! It has been a while hasn't it! Cooper is DARLING! I am so glad it is finally over for you and that it has been such a good experience for you. It makes me want a little baby right now! But not really...

Keep on enjoying it all and soaking it all in, good to catch up!

I also can't believe it's already been a month. What a beautiful family you have, beautiful boys and a great husband. I am glad to hear that even though it's not easy what a joy it will be to have three.

Love the pictures! Cooper's one month, Grandpa and baby, Brittany and baby, Tim and baby! These will go in my scrapbook! I agree with your comments. I still remember Farmor telling me, "Enjoy this time, it will soon pass!" I cherish every memory with my little ones and thanks for making it all real again! Your a GOOD MOM!
