no shirt. no shoes. no problem.

Our Cooper loves to be shirtless.  If you don't believe me please see the following evidence:

As you can see, he also prefers his friends without shirts as well.  When they are at our home playing he will try to convince them to take their shirts off.  You may have noticed that many of his friends are girls.  We realize that this could become a real problem in the future and we're trying to mediate the problem now before it gets out of hand.  We thought that the cold weather may help with this, but so far it hasn't deterred him much.

As you can also see, he prefers to be shirtless with his "Utah's" on.  Cooper calls all of his athletic shorts "Utah's."  I may have had something to do with that.  He wanted to wear his actual Utah shorts everyday so I started telling him that all his shorts were his "Utah's."  For some reason, that never worked with his cute cargo or jean shorts.  Unfortunately, this child has a mind of his own.  I've actually loved it and embraced it.  I'm sure I would have never let this fly with my older two boys, but Cooper's our third.  You get my point.

Just so you know, he always wears a shirt to church, to the store and most public places with the exception of parks.  However, the minute we walk inside our house {or anybody's house} he's got his shirt off...

Love.  This.  Kid.

I seriously love this kid, too. Although I'm pretty sure Allie is picking up some bad habits . . . :)

Hey - he's got his own opinions, which is SUCH a sign of intelligence. My son would live in his pjs if I'd let him. :-)

Sorry to pipe up from Jaimy's family again, but I have to say that photo of Allie and Cooper is to die for. Seriously, it should be framed. Who's fleshier? I can't decide. I love kids' fetishes with clothes--my two year old daughter would only wear her "yellow" (yellow sandals)everywhere until she was like four. We just kept stuffing her feet into them. It wasn't worth the fight. I wish I'd kept them. :)
